Under this approach, Departmental Junior Engineers or Deputy Chief Technicians (previously known as Senior Operators) with a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, as well as Departmental Employees with a degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology, are eligible to apply for the Assistant Engineer (Transmission) position and expedite their professional growth.
