If applicable, a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 100/- (one Hundred) can be paid through the provided link in the online application. The printed copy of the e-receipt must be enclosed with the application. Candidates who belong to SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Permanent CSIR Employees categories are exempted from paying the application fee. Please note that no other modes of payment such as DD, Challan, Postal Orders, etc. are allowed.

CSIR-NGRI Junior Assistant Notification 2024 Post Qualification, Eligibility
- The candidate must hold Indian citizenship.
- Proficiency in computer typing speed and the use of computers as per the prescribed norms set by the DoPT from time to time are required, along with the ability to solve the equation 10 + 2 / XII or its equivalent.
- Applicants are required to meet the necessary qualifications for the position and fulfill all other conditions mentioned in the advertisement. It is recommended that they ensure they possess at least the minimum essential qualifications specified for the post before applying, even if they have additional higher qualifications. Any inquiries regarding eligibility will not be entertained. The essential qualifications mentioned are the minimum requirements for the position. However, possessing these qualifications alone does not guarantee candidates to be called for the Typing test/Written test.
CSIR-NGRI Junior Assistant Vacancies 2024 Age Limit
The maximum age limit for skilled supporting staff should not surpass 33 years as of the closing date of applications. However, there is age relaxation provided to SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates in accordance with the government rules.
Selection Process for CSIR-NGRI Junior Assistant Job 2024
- The written examination requires proficiency in computer typing speed and computer usage, in accordance with the norms set by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). This requirement is of a qualifying nature.
- English Typing at a speed of 35 words per minute or Hindi Typing at a speed of 30 words per minute corresponds to an average of 10,500 Key Depressions per Hour (KDPH) or 9,000 KDPH respectively. This calculation is based on an average of 5 key depressions for each word.

Along with the signed application, the candidate should include one recent colored passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded in the online application form), self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials supporting age and educational qualifications, an experience certificate (if applicable), a copy of the full discharge book (if applicable), proof of possession of an Ex-Servicemen certificate (if applicable), a caste/community certificate (if applicable), a certificate to be produced by EWS candidates (if applicable), a PwBD certificate (if applicable), and a copy of the E-RECEIPT of the Application fee paid (if applicable).
