Male candidates who belong to the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories and are applying for the recruitment to the post of Constable (GD) under the Sports Quota are required to pay an application fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) through the CRPF Recruitment website at https://recruitment.crpf.gov.in. Please note that applications received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. However, the application fee is exempted for females and candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.

• The age relaxation as per the relevant Recruitment Rules is applicable for individuals between the ages of 18 and 23.
• Successful completion of the matriculation examination or an equivalent qualification from a recognized educational board is required.
• Sports individuals who have demonstrated exceptional skill and talent by representing either their state or the country in nationally recognized games or championships, both at the junior and senior levels, or in internationally renowned championships organized by federations or associations recognized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, or conducted by the Indian Olympic Association, during the period from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2023, are eligible for consideration. Additionally, sportspersons who have represented their university in the All India Inter-University Tournaments organized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) during the same three-year period are also eligible. Furthermore, individuals who have represented their state school team in the National School Games organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2023, are also considered deserving candidates.

Sports Qualification:

• (i) Only players who have participated in or won medal(s) in the specified levels of competition mentioned in the table below between 01.01.2021 and 31.12.2023 are eligible to apply.
• (ii) Candidates will receive marks for their highest medal achieved during the period from 01.01.2021 to 31.12.2023. If a candidate has secured more than one medal in a particular competition, only the highest medal/position will be considered for awarding marks. Marks given for separate competitions will not be included in the overall assessment of sports achievements.

• The relaxation of age as per the applicable Recruitment Rules is valid for individuals aged between 18 and 23.
• The age range for eligibility is between 18 and 23 years. The cut-off date for determining the age will be 15.02.2024, which is the final date for submitting online applications.
• The maximum age limit can be extended by 5 years for Unreserved candidates. In the case of SC/ST and OBC Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) candidates, the age limit can be extended by an additional 5 years (i.e., a total of 10 years for SC/ST and OBC NCL candidates). Additionally, the age limit can be extended by 3 years for OBC NCL candidates (i.e., a total of 8 years for OBC NCL candidates).

Online Admit Cards will be provided to candidates whose online applications are deemed valid for the recruitment process, which includes Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Detailed Medical Examination.

Physical Standard Test (PST):

• Candidates who meet the requirements for documentation will be subjected to the Physical Standards Test (PST) in accordance with the standards outlined in Paragraph 4(f) above.
• Candidates will receive marks based on the Medals/Participants certificates they have acquired in National and International level sports competitions. Merit will be determined by the marks obtained from these certificates. Candidates who qualify in the PST will be selected for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) based on their merit.
